Thursday January 10th 6:10 Pm

Hi all, this is my first blog post in a series about the production of my drum and bass loop pack 'jungle breaks'. I just got back from college, I spent the entire afternoon in the drum booth coming up with ideas to put in my sample pack. This is the third session Ive had in the booth to come up with ideas and I currently have 10 sample ideas recorded on my phone. Originally when I had this idea I expected to just use breakbeat grooves in my sample pack but theres only so many combinations I could come up with so, I am going to add other types of grooves that might appeal to producers of various subgenres of dnb such as busy half time grooves, odd time grooves, double kick breakbeat grooves and even some fills to transition between different sections of the track.
